Biography:
Judge Eric Williams is currently the Division 6 Judge of the 18th Judicial District Court. He was elected in 2016. Prior to taking the bench in January 2017, Judge Williams had served as an Assistant District Attorney in both the Shawnee County District Attorney's Office and Sedgwick County District Attorney's Office, and as Chief Legal Counsel to the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training (KSCPOST) - the agency that regulates the law enforcement profession in Kansas.
Judge Williams is an active member of the Wichita Bar Association (WBA), Kansas Bar Association (KBA), Wichita Metro Crime Commission (WMCC), and is a Leadership Kansas Alum. Judge Williams attended Wichita State University where he received his B.A. before going on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Washburn University School of Law.
