Biography:

          Presiding Judge Jeff Dewey is currently the Division 21 Judge of the 18th Judicial District Court. He was appointed in 2016. Following law school, Judge Dewey was engaged in the private practice of law for 32 years, during which time he represented hundreds of clients in almost every nearby county and federal court, and in almost every area of the law. As his private practice developed, his concentration became cases primarily in Family Law and Bankruptcy. Judge Dewey also served as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business at Wichita State University.

          Judge Dewey is a life-long Wichitan. He attended Wichita Public Schools. Judge Dewey has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University and a Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law.
