Kids First Workshop

KIDS FIRST WORKSHOP
is an exceptional tool to help you in your day to day challenges in dealing with co-parenting issues. This workshop is designed to provide education and guidance for parents who are involved in custody related court cases. This is a Court Ordered Class.

The $60.00 Workshop fee must be paid BEFORE 4:00 p.m. the DAY OF your session.  Payments can be made in person at the District Court Family Law Clerks Office on the
7th floor ROOM 714 of the Sedgwick County Courthouse.

Only cash and money orders will be accepted as payment for the workshop.  No personal checks are allowed.  Money Orders should be made payable to the Clerk of the District Court.

You can also mail your payment to the attention of the Clerk of the District Court, KIDS FIRST Workshop, 525 North Main, ROOM 714 Wichita, Kansas 67203.

*NOTE:  If an interpreter is needed, the request must be made through the Clerk’s office at the time of scheduling.   An interpreter will be provided by the Courts upon request.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN INTERPRETER TO THE CLASS.

The KIDS FIRST Workshop is a total of 3 hours. The Workshop is scheduled on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Sedgwick County Courthouse located at 525 North Main, in Wichita, Kansas. Check in begins at 5:00 p.m. on the first floor in the Jury room.

Parking is available in the public parking garage to the north of the courthouse.

​

You will go through the proper security screening at the main entrance. Once you enter the building, you will not be permitted to leave until the class has concluded.

​

Food and Drinks are allowed in the Jury Room.

​

Please DO NOT bring children with you.  Children are NOT allowed.
