Judge Corrigan has also been President of the Kansas County Judges Association (1976), President of the Kansas District Judges Association (1986). He was the Administrative Judge for the 18th Judicial District (1987 - 1995). Judge Corrigan served on the Board of Tax Appeals in Topeka (1995).

He was appointed by the Kansas Supreme Court to serve as Chief Judge of the 18th Judicial District effective June 1, 2006.
