Mrs. House was appointed as District Court Administrator in June, 2002. Prior to this appointment Mrs. House worked in the court system in a variety of positions since 1992. Mrs. House earned a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from Friend's University (1989) and holds the distinction of Fellow of the Institute for Court Management, Williamsburg, VA. (1997)

The major duties of the District Court Administrator are:

• Responsible for the high level supervision of all non-judicial court staff
• Prepares and administers the annual budget
• Oversees the administrative functions and operations
• Coordinates staffing levels with the Office of Judicial Administration
• Reports to the Administrative Judge of the District Court and the Judicial Administrator of the State of Kansas
